Questions peopleactually ask.

Including the ones we can't answer yet, and why.

What does a website cost?

It depends on what the site has to do, and we won't pretend otherwise. A landing page and a 40-page storefront aren't the same project, and a price quoted before we understand yours is a guess someone has to honour later.

Tell us what you need it to do and we'll send written pricing for that work specifically. It costs you one conversation.

How long does it take?

We don't publish a timeline yet, and we'd rather say that than invent one.

Here's what it actually depends on: how many pages, whether content and photography exist or need creating, how many people have to approve, and how quickly we get what we ask for. The last one is usually the real variable — most projects wait on the client, not the builder.

You'll get a schedule with your quote, for your project, and we'll tell you if we can't meet a date you need.

Do I own the website?

Yes, completely. The domain is registered in your account. The hosting is yours. The code repository transfers to you.

If you ever leave, nothing has to be rebuilt and nothing is held hostage. That's deliberate — we'd rather keep clients because they want to stay.

Can I update it myself?

Yes. We set you up to change text, images, prices, staff and posts without touching the layout.

That boundary is on purpose. You get the control you actually need, and the design can't drift out of alignment six months after launch.

How many rounds of revisions?

Two are included at each stage. Further rounds are quoted.

Not to be difficult — a clear number is fairer than an open-ended promise. Unlimited revisions is how projects quietly die, and how everyone ends up resentful.

What if I don't like the design?

You'll see the direction long before anything is built. We agree on it, then build — so the first time you see a finished page isn't the first time you've seen the idea.

If a direction isn't working, we'd rather hear it early. Nobody wins from politeness at that stage.

I already have a website. Can you work with it?

Usually, yes — and there are a few honest answers depending on what you have.

Sometimes the right move is a rebuild. Sometimes it's a migration that keeps everything you've earned in search. Sometimes your existing site is fine and what you actually need is a fix, an audit, or a landing page.

We'll tell you which. Including when the answer is "don't rebuild this yet."

Can you look at my current site first?

Yes. We'll run a full technical audit and send you what we find — broken links, dead pages, performance problems, accessibility issues.

On one live site we checked 18,047 links and found 132 blocking defects and 81 dead external links. Nobody there knew.

Do you do SEO?

It's built in, not sold separately. Structure, metadata, image naming, internal linking and content designed around real search intent — from the first page, not retrofitted when traffic doesn't arrive.

What we won't do is promise rankings. Nobody controls Google, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

What do you need from me?

Less than you'd think, and earlier than you'd like. Decisions, mostly — plus whatever content and access you already have.

If you don't have photography, we shoot. If you don't have copy, we write it. The projects that run late are the ones waiting on approvals, not assets.

What happens after launch?

That's the part most studios skip. Sites fail quietly — a form stops sending, links rot, redirects break, performance drifts — and nobody notices for months because nothing tells them.

We monitor, maintain, and make the changes a live business needs. It's the default shape of an engagement, not an upsell.

Do you work with clients outside Los Angeles?

Yes. Most of our work happens over video and email regardless of location, and we build in English and Mandarin.
