A photography site has one job that most sites do not: the work has to carry the page. Type, layout and navigation exist to stay out of the way of an image, and every decision that draws attention to itself takes attention from the photograph.

What it does

Twenty-one pages of galleries and writing, organised so a visitor can move between bodies of work without being routed back through a homepage each time. The site runs across two cities, and the structure has to hold whether a series was shot in Los Angeles or Taipei.

Ongoing operation

This is not a site that launched and stopped. It is maintained — links checked, pages added as new work is finished, structure adjusted as the body of work grows. Every link across all twenty-one pages currently resolves.

That is the shape most engagements here actually take. A site is not a delivery; it is something that has to keep working after the invoice.
